Apple starts airing iPad mini TV advert – ‘Piano’

Following yesterday’s launch of the iPad mini in 34 countries, Apple has started airing a television advert for it. Titled ‘Piano’, the advert opens with one hand playing the tune “Heart and Soul” in GarageBand on a full-sized 9.7-inch iPad. This is then joined by a second hand playing along on the 7.9-inch iPad mini.

Since the iPad mini was announced, Apple’s marketing has focused on the point that it can do whatever the full-sized iPad can do. I’m sure you’ll agree that the TV advert makes that point pretty well.

Apple first debuted the advert at last month’s iPad mini media event.
