There have been many rumours regarding what the iPhone 5 could look like, some have speculated that it will be similar to the iPhone 4, while others have claimed it will have a radically different design. Inspired by these rumours, artists & designers have created their own concept designs, and in this post I have picked out what I personally think are 10 of the best.

It looks like the iPhone 5 is still on course for a September release, according to a 9to5Mac source the next generation iPhone is currently in the final stages of testing and may even be in use by some of the higher level Apple and network execs.

Verizon’s Chief Financial Officer Fran Shammo spilled some beans at the Reuters Global Technology summit earlier today, confirming that when the fifth-generation iPhone finally launches, the device will support both CDMA and GSM networks.

Bad news for anyone hoping for a radically different iPhone this year. A research note produced by Jeffries & Co. analyst Peter Misek, and reported by Forbes, points instead to an iPhone 4S with minor design changes but improved spec.

It’s pretty amazing to think that although the iPhone 4 was launched on the 24th of June 2010, ten months on you still can’t go out and buy a white one. While there have been countless false dawns in the past, it looks like the white iPhone 4 is finally here.

So in some ways Trickle for Twitter is the perfect app for me – and that’s because it’s a passive Twitter Client.
