Apple has launched two updated iPhone commercials which will quite possibly be the last to feature the company’s iPhone 4 ahead of its rumoured refresh this September. The adverts showcase the device’s awesome ability to act as an iPod, and its App Store, which is undoubtedly unmatched by any of its rivals.

Apple have opened up a Beta version of its much anticipated iCloud service to registered developers on iCloud.com. If you go to that url now, you will see the login page captured above. Once logged in, developers have access to web apps for Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Find My iPhone & iWork.

Apple extends iTunes song previews in UK & other countries

Back in December 2010, Apple increased the preview length of songs in the US iTunes Store from 30 to 90 seconds. Seven months on, Apple appears to have rolled out longer song clips to a number of other countries – including here in the UK.

Apple’s latest operating system, OS X Lion, introduces over 250 new features to the Mac, and is a steal at just £20.99 ($29.99). Especially when you compare it to Windows – it’s biggest rival – which currently retails from around £120. It’s not such great value, however, if Apple decides to charge you for it 122 times.
