A month on from the last one, Apple released a new iPad 2 advert today. Like the previous one, the focus is on what you can do with the iPad, and the different types of people it appeals to.
New iMacs are finally here! As expected they feature Intel’s latest Sandy Bridge processors and the new high-speed Thunderbolt port, which allows you to daisy-chain as many as six devices. There are two 21.5-inch models and two 27-inch models. They are all Quad-Core, include new AMD Radeon HD graphics processors, and have FaceTime HD Cameras.
Earlier today Apple confirmed in a press release that the iPad 2 will go on sale in twelve more countries, starting with Japan on the 28th of April.
One of the things I love about ordering from the Apple Online Store is that in most cases I can expect my order to arrive within a couple of days. Even just before Christmas last year, when most of the UK was covered in snow and many other companies were struggling to deliver items at all, I received an order within 24 hours. So when I saw Apple advertising a new express delivery service I was curious to know what it involved.
With WWDC 2011 announced a few days ago I thought it would be interesting to have a look back at the invites sent out for the previous 4 conferences, and to compare the teasers on the invitations with what was featured at the events.
According to the email that landed in my inbox late yesterday, WWDC 2011 – Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference will be held between the 6th and 10th of June at Moscone West, San Francisco. The invite features a large Apple logo filled with app icons and the teaser “Join us for a preview of the future of iOS and Mac OS X.“
