Late last week, Apple made the session videos from WWDC 2011 available to registered developers. It currently costs £65 ($99) per year to join the iOS or Mac developer programs – if you don’t fancy paying that, but are curious to see the latest innovations in iOS and OS X you can also access the videos by joining the free Safari developer program.

Apple’s new ‘Back to School’ promotion launched last week, giving students the opportunity to bag a free $100 (£65) gift card when they purchase a new Mac for school. Not every Mac is eligible, however, and you can’t spend that $100 everywhere – here’s our guide of everything you need to know about Apple’s new Back to School promotion for 2011.

A couple of days ago I received a promo code that allowed me to download an iPhone App for free, but I must admit that having never had one before I wasn’t sure where to enter it. Having bought two refurbished Macs myself – a MacBook Pro, and more recently an 11″ MacBook Air I would absolutely recommend anyone in the market for a new Mac to consider it. In both cases the Macs were in perfect condition, no scratches or dents, and my main concern – no dead or stuck pixels. I’ve also read many forum posts from other people who have had the same positive experience.
