Apple to launch iPhone 5 in South Korea and fifty additional countries in December

Following Apple’s announcement last week that the iPhone 5, iPad mini, and the fourth generation iPad will be arriving in China in December, the Cupertino company has today announced that the iPhone 5 will also be launching in South Korea and more than fifty additional countries by the end of the month.

Apple shows its support for World AIDS Day

In line with previous years, Apple is once again lending its support to World AIDS Day. The Cupertino company is promoting its range of (PRODUCT) RED merchandise at its retail stores, and a number of the store’s iconic Apple logo signs, including Regent Street London, have had their colour changed to red.

Apple starts selling unlocked iPhone 5 in the US

Here in the UK, we’ve been able to purchase unlocked versions of the iPhone 5 since its launch on the 21st of September, but now our friends across the pond can finally do the same. Following the launch of iTunes 11 yesterday, Apple started selling unlocked GSM models of the iPhone 5 on its US online store.

Apple’s new iMacs go on sale

Just as Apple promised earlier this week, its all-new iMacs have today gone on sale. You can order the 21-inch model via the company’s online store, with a dispatch time of 1-3 business days. And if you can’t wait that long, you should also be able to pick one up at your local Apple retail store. The 27-inch model is also available to order online, but as expected, it will take 2-3 weeks to ship.

It’s finally here! The all-new iTunes 11, which boasts a dramatically simplified design and deeper iCloud integration, is now available to download for Mac and PC. Unveiled at its iPhone 5 event back in September, Apple originally promised the software would arrive by the end of October, but then delayed its launch until November.
