Apple has released a couple of supplemental updates for users running OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and OS X Lion 10.7.5 on their Macs. Both updates address a small number of issues that some users may have been experiencing with their systems.

Apple has announced that it will be holding an earnings call to discuss the financial results of its fourth fiscal quarter on Thursday, the 25th of October at 2.00pm Pacific Time (10.00pm in the UK). The company will be providing a live audio stream of the conference call on its website.
In an email sent to the company’s employees, Apple CEO Tim Cook has thanked them for their hard work during 2012, and announced that the Thanksgiving holiday will be extended to allow teams in the US to spend the full week with their loved ones. International teams will also receive an extra three days holiday.
Modbook Inc, the company developing the Modbook Pro – a tablet for creative professionals based on the 13-inch MacBook Pro, has announced that the device will now launch with solid state storage as standard, and that customers can start placing orders for it later this week.
When the iPhone 5 was announced earlier this month I decided to have a go at creating a series of simple wallpapers for it. So, a little bit later than originally planned, I’ve finally put together a collection of twenty abstract designs which I personally think look great on the new device – hopefully some of you will like them too!
