Mat Honan, the Wired journalist whose iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air were remotely wiped by hackers using iCloud’s Find My Device feature, has now detailed the security flaws that allowed the attackers to trick a member of Apple’s Tech Support into giving them access to his iCloud account.

Apple to remove dedicated YouTube app in iOS 6

When it launches later this year, iOS 6 will be the first version of Apple’s mobile operating system not to include a dedicated YouTube app. The omission first came to light after the fourth beta version of iOS 6 was released to developers earlier today, and has since been officially confirmed by Apple.

Apple ends MobileMe transition period

Hulu Plus quietly arrives on the Apple TV

US Apple TV owners can now access the video streaming service Hulu Plus on their devices, after Apple quietly added the channel earlier today. According to MacRumors, who where the first to report the new feature, users may need to restart their Apple TV for the channel to appear.
