Google releases Chrome web browser for iOS
During the second day of its I/O 2012 conference, Google announced it would be releasing a version of its Chrome browser for the iPhone and iPad, and just a few hours on from the announcement, the app is now available to download. Chrome for iOS includes tab syncing across devices, unlimited tabs, and an incognito browsing mode.
The release of Chrome for iOS follows Mozilla’s unveiling of a prototype web browser called “Junior” which is being developed specifically for the iPad.
Chrome isn’t the only iOS app that Google launched today, it also released an iOS client for Google Drive – its cloud-based storage service.
