Yahoo launches revamped Flickr app for iOS

Yahoo has today released a completely revamped version of its Flickr app for the iPhone and iPod touch, which it says is easier to use and more beautiful than its predecessor. The app also boasts a number of new features, with the most notable being the ability to add 16 Instagram-style filters to your photographs.

Other enhancements include full groups capabilities – which was previously only available on the Flickr.com website, the ability to explore photographs taken by users all over the world and nearby, and a simplified sign-up and registration process.

Flickr for iOS is available as a free download from the App Store.
